Bethel House is a house in St. Louis, Missouri, used for transitional housing by needy families. Volunteers from Bethel Lutheran Church were responsible for renovating and furnishing the original Bethel House I; it was then turned over to Lutheran Family and Children's Services to match it with the families that needed it.
Subsequently, Bethel volunteers renovated Bethel House II on Sidney Street, which was dedicated February 22, 1998.
Bethel volunteers are currently working on Bethel House III at 3971 West Belle (click here for a map).
Work continues every Saturday, comre rain or shine. The work day begins at 9:00 a.m. with a prayer. Please call Larry Lauger if you can lend a helping hand; by your calling, we'll know how many people to prepare a tasty lunch for.For more information about use of the house, contact Lutheran Family and
Children's Services at (314)534-1515.
